Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit are the most prolific species in the Florida Keys and Key West. Snook, Redfish, Jack Creval, Spotted Sea Trout as well of a variety of other species can all be found inside the vast flyfishing paradise known as the Everglades National Park.
The Lower Florida Keys, Key West, and Marquesas region has become one of the worlds premier Permit destinations. The recent net ban in Florida has brought our fishery back to state of nothing less than "World Class". Permit roam the flats of the Lower Florida Keys and Key West FL year round and are a formidable opponent for any fly fishing angler. I spend many days each season fly fishing for Permit exclusively. The spring time in the Florida Keys and Key West as well as Everglades National Park, greets us with a huge migration of Tarpon. As early as February "The Silver Kings" begin to make their way into our little piece of fly fishing heaven. The annual migration brings anglers from all over the world to test their skills. Bonefishing in The Florida Keys and Key West Florida has always been one of the ultimate fly fishing challenges. Whether wading on one of our beautiful white sand Lower Keys backcountry flats or gently poling across a glass calm Islamorada bank in pursuit of Bonefish up to 15 pounds. The Florida Keys bonefish will amaze you in their tremendous size and ability to peel line from your reel. The Florida Keys Bonefish will challenge all of your fly fishing abilities. No where else in the world will you find the bonefish over 10 pounds with such frequency as in the Florida Keys. The Florida Keys and Key West FL, and Everglades National Park are all amazing places for anyone who appreciates challenging fishing, wonderful wildlife and breath taking scenery.
