Titusville is located on Florida's East Coast one hour east of Orlando and has become the dominant sight fishing destination for Redfish in the nearby waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River. Although located just minutes from Orlando Florida, Mosquito Lagoon is one of the last unspoiled areas on the east coast of Florida. It lies within the boundaries of the Cape Canaveral National Seashore and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. You will not find any waterfront condos here, just unspoiled wilderness. Many different types of wildlife are often encountered including alligators, dolphins, coastal birds, and the endangered West Indian Manatee, so be sure to bring your camera. |
