With over twenty years fishing experience, Captain Dennis Chaprales, nephew of the famous Chatham Shark Hunter Billy Chaprales, has thousands of hours logged on Nantucket Sound, the waters east of Cape Cod, and down the entire east coast. His extensive knowledge of fishing the waters surrounding Cape Cod benefits his abilities as a charter boat captain and ensures that you will catch more fish! |

Techniques
We fish in various ways depending on the target species, time of year, and success rates. We fish for Striped Bass using wire line, live scup, and spinning rods. We fish for Blue Fin Tuna with live bait, trolling, and other methods. For more detailed information, feel free to give us a call at 508.648.8411.

Season
Our charter season begins in March when our target species is Cod and Pollock, We fish for bottom fish like scup, sea bass, and tautog during the spring and early summer. Striped Bass, Blue Fish, Shark and Tuna are the primary target species throughout the summer and early fall.
Party Size
We can accomodate up to six people. We welcome children aboard the Predatuna. There is no minimum number of guests to confirm a reservation, the charter books the boat for a trip and can take up to six people.
Hours
Our trips generally run in the morning and then again in the afternoon. Offshore trips depart early in the morning and generally last 10-12 hours.
Equipment
All bait and tackle is provided. We fish Penn, Daiwa, and Shimano tackle and our boat is equipped with the latest in electronics.
License/Regulations
Our Captain, Dennis Chaprales is fully licensed by the United States Coast Guard.
Insurance
Predatuna Sportfishing is a fully insured business.
Travel Tips
Traveling from the east or west... Take the Mid-Cape Highway (Rt. 6) west to exit #7. Turn left onto Willow Street. Follow towards Hyannis/ Falmouth, go 2.3 miles. Go straight through the stop light and bear right at DJ's Wings (Don't follow the signs to the Hospital). Go .3 miles. Turn left onto Main Street. Take your immediate right onto School Street. Go straight through the stop sign, follow until the end and a take a sharp left into the parking lot. The boat is located in the last slip on the left (look for the Predatuna Sportfishing sign).
Other Services
We will clean and fillet your catch. We also offer whale watch and seal watch charters as well as harbor cruises.
