7/11 - This past weekend the fishing was explosive. Saturdays 7/8 charter was
a steady pick on the blues with an occasional Bass mixed in. Two small boys aged
7 and 9 had a real "first experience" with good size fish.....always
great to see the excitement on their faces.
Sunday 7/9 was all out crazy. A Family of 5 Started with chunks in deep water, we made several moves until we located nice size blues (6-8lb) which we hammered on the diamond jigs for hours. About 50+ fish all realeased for another day. The 14 yr old son was high hook, with the Mom right behind!! 6/6 - We stayed tied to the dock on saturday with the tough weather... However sunday showed good results for a morning Charter with a mixed bag of Blues, one keeper striper and two keeper fluke on a final drift on the way home. The striper bite is heating Up!! |
