We welcomed another first time customer on board, Geoff McAuliffe and crew. These folks were fairly new to the saltwater fishing scene so I was anxious to show them a good time. The day started out with nasty T storms all over the place causing us to duck into Menemsha for an hour and sit out the lightening strikes and quarter sized hail. Once the sky opened up a little and showed a glimpse of sun we were jigging the channel of Quicks Hole catching a few small sublegal fish. I then decided to break out the live bait and slow troll it on some of the rocky terrain in the channel. That proved to be a good move as we proceeded to hammer some nice 20 pound class 39 inch fish....one after the other. Circle hooks turned out to be the ticket once again as we lost very few fish. The highlight of the day is when Geoff brought a 34 pound fish to the boat. Once that thing wound up in the box we knew we were definitely having a great day. We also had a beautiful lady catching fish with us to boot which kept everyone on their toes! We finished thew day catching a couple more nice fish in a secret Woods Hole spot which always holds fish. I think there are still a lot of bass moving in. Back at it this week tuna fishing east of Chatham.
