South Carolina Fishing Reports
The Coastal region of South Carolina borders the Atlantic Ocean, stretching from North Myrtle Beach, to Hilton Head Island and Bluffton.
The Piedmont region stretches from Walhalla and Westminster in the westernmost part of the state, down the Georgia/South Carolina border to Edgefield, up to Gaffney and Blacksburg on the North Carolina/South Carolina border.
This region includes towns from Aiken to Hampton on the Georgia/South Carolina border, and stretches as far inland as Columbia and the immediate surrounding area.
The Pee Dee region of South Carolina is the northeastern corner of the state. It is the area of the lower watershed of the Pee Dee River, named after the Pee Dee Native American tribe. Its center is Florence, however the Grand Strand, which includes the beaches running from the North Carolina state line to the Winyah Bay, is also considered a part of the region.
